SRS Multi-Channel Retailing solution is built using state-of-the-art technologies on top of IBM’s industry-leading application platform, WebSphere Commerce. The solution is based on the principle that data should be shared, not through platform integration, but through platform assimilation. Finally, all data across the enterprise can start and end on the same platform and the power of enterprise systems can be delivered to any web browser enabled device. The solution has the required system components, tools and framework to support your business and multi-channel strategy.

SRS Multi-Channel Enterprise
SRS Multi-Channel Enterprise is the core engine of the SRS Multi-Channel Retailing solution that seamlessly integrates all of the retail channels and enables true multi-channel retailing. It is the centralized information hub with complete and real-time information on systems across all retail channels. Any orders, transactions or updates originating at any channel Point of Entry (POE) are immediately available in the Enterprise database providing a 360 degree view of the Enterprise. The solution provides a powerful real-time distributed Order Management System that manages the order lifecycle across all retail channels.
With real-time visibility across all retail channels and centralized information access, SRS Multi-Channel Enterprise provides the opportunity to go beyond cross-channel shopping and leverage multi-channel retailing capabilities for cross-channel optimization.
The solution has a built-in framework that transparently manages how Enterprise Master Data is maintained, updated and shared across all the retail channels. Standard XML and Web Services based interfaces allow for easy integration with external systems and third party services.

SRS Multi-Channel e-Commerce
The SRS Multi-Channel e-Commerce solution enables any IBM WebSphere Commerce based website to seamlessly plug into SRS Multi-Channel Enterprise out of the box and leverage multi-channel capabilities. A plug-in can be easily developed to connect an e-commerce website based on any other software platform. The solution offers real-time visibility on entire inventory and the ability to sell any merchandise anywhere in the enterprise.
The SRS Multi-Channel e-commerce enables true multi-channel experience for the customers through features such as order status and complete history on any transactions originated anywhere, hold for pickup at any store, ship order to multiple addresses, etc. Customers can also maintain shopping lists, gift registry, address book, save and resume orders across all SRS Multi-Channel Retailing solution enabled sales channels.

SRS Multi-Channel POS
The SRS Multi-Channel Point-of-Sale (POS) solution provides all the core functionality to support your in-store retailing processes at the POS Cash Register with streamlined process flow, improved customer visibility and speedy checkout. The graphical user interface has a guided touch screen design that is fast, personalized and very user friendly.
The solution provides real-time information and tools to run the store and manage assets efficiently. Store inventory management features are designed to improve efficiency, visibility and accountability. All processes and reporting to the Enterprise Systems at the Corporate Office are seamlessly and transparently integrated via SRS Multi-Channel Enterprise eliminating the need for manual intervention and overhead. The solution also includes key capabilities to help prevent loss and fraud – the two major issues for retailers.
Multi-channel / cross-channel / cross-store retailing features provide personalized and consistent shopping experience for the customer, real-time access to context relevant enterprise-wide data, and operational efficiency optimization. CRM and Marketing features enable you to take the maximum advantage of live interaction with customers in a store environment.

The SRS Multi-Channel Kiosk offers an easy self-service alternative to the customer waiting in the checkout lane to place an order. The solution provides all customer and order related functionality available in SRS Multi-Channel POS solution that is driven by the customer. The graphical user interface is intuitive and easy to use. The user interface has been developed with latest rich media and Web 2.0 technologies to provide a guided touch screen design that is fast, interactive and personalized for every customer.
The solution leverages the same multi-channel capabilities available to all other channels, such as, secure cross channel customer information access, order status and complete history on any transactions originated anywhere, endless aisle, hold merchandise for customer at any store, ship order to multiple addresses, hold for pickup at any store, shopping lists, gift registry, address book, etc.

SRS Multi-Channel Call Center
The SRS Multi-Channel Call Center solution delivers powerful functionality to your call center representatives needed to service cross-channel customers. It delivers the speed and usability required for high-volume call centers via a personalized user interface designed for maximum productivity and multi-tasking. In addition to all the customer and order related functionality available in SRS Multi-Channel POS to the Store Associate, the call center solution offers advanced capabilities to the call center representative. For example, the call center representatives can work with multiple stores, customers, and orders simultaneously; create quotes and turn quotes into orders; create, update, block, and cancel orders; create and manage “to do” lists for themselves and others.

SRS Multi-Channel m-Commerce
The SRS Multi-Channel m-Commerce solution offers an m-commerce application for windows mobile powered phones. The solution is also capable of working with mobile gateways to extend the reach to a wide variety of mobile devices. Some of the features currently available in the m-commerce application include store locator, catalog browsing, merchandise search and information lookup, customer sign in, ordering, hold via SMS for in-store pickup, targeted offers, shopping lists, gift registry and address book.

Portability, Scalability & Extensibility
All SRS products are developed on the IBM WebSphere Commerce platform using open standards, technologies and development frameworks such as Java, J2EE, JMS, JDBC, JMX, JavaPOS, XML, Web Services, and Struts. Hence, SRS products can be deployed on all operating systems supported by IBM WebSphere Commerce including AIX, i5/OS, Linux, Sun Unix and Windows. Our solution can be implemented on IBM WebSphere Commerce Professional Edition or Enterprise Edition. All SRS products have a Web Browser based rich graphical user interface. Hence, SRS applications are accessible via any browser-enabled device.
SRS products support both vertical and horizontal scalability to be able to support very high transaction volume and load characteristics. Vertical clustering of SRS application servers on the same physical machine provides a straightforward mechanism to create multiple Java Virtual Machine (JVM) processes that together can fully use all the processing power and memory available. Horizontal clustering of SRS application servers on multiple physical machines allows the application to span several machines while presenting a single system image with no affinity to a particular server, providing increased throughput and high availability.
The SRS solution is designed from the ground up using a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA). The architecture emphasizes Master Data Management (MDM), business logic optimization capabilities and a standard API framework-based reuse of IBM WebSphere Commerce modules. We have the ability to extend our solution to support complex businesses including support for B2B2C in addition to typical B2C and B2B business models. Customizations to application logic and information model assets are relatively easy to accomplish since the architecture is not limited by any proprietary framework; this lends unique extensibility to our products.
